Red Sparrow stars the Oscar winner as a reluctant Russian snoop trained in the dark artworks of hypocrisy, manipulation, and seduction.( Largely the latter, based on the trailer .)
She’s not just good at her undertaking, she’s the best – until she satisfies an American CIA agent( Joel Edgerton) who insists he can help her. But their connect sets both of them, and everyone they care about, at great risk.
It seems a little bit like Charlize Theron’s Atomic Blonde , and a lot like the Black Widow Marvel movie we’ve dreamed of get for years.
